Zombie Horde

All done in Photoshop. No references. Based on a very rough pencil sketch. About 15 hours of work (more or less).

Yesterday I finished this one in black & white (see deviation before). I am still not sure, which one is the stronger/better picture. I experimented a lot and did several refinings concerning the coloring, but all in all this one seemed to be the best version. I guess this is also the first time, I did something in an inked/comic-style. I enjoyed that a lot!

But I had my problems with the overall composition of the picture, also with the drapery of the clothes and the gestures/posing of the zombies. Well, but it turned out pretty nice.

I am not so much a 'zombie-guy'. I prefer other popcultural monsters like werewolves much more. Though from time to time I enjoy a good zombie-flick (hailz to George A. Romero!).

I made this one for an art contest on a rpg-convention in Vienna. Last year I on the first price there...
